Dory Jackson is a Digital Journalist. She considers herself to be a true pop culture snob with a focus on all things relating to television and film news. Although much of her writing is entertainment-based, she has enjoyed covering news within the political and business world as well. Her goal is to transition into on-camera hosting.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Randolph-Macon College in May 2016. Her focus was in Communications Studies and Journalism. She participated in the R-MC Cheer & Dance Team, Stinger Radio Station, and The Yellow Jacket Newspaper.
Her sophomore year of college is when she came to the realization that she was meant to pursue a career in entertainment journalism after attending Hot 99.5s Jingle Ball — an event where she had her first celebrity interviews with Fifth Harmony and Austin Mahone.

She's worked with news brands such as Celebuzz, Press Pass LA, MTV, Us Weekly and International Business Times. Through Newsweek, she's interviewed dozens of A-List stars, including the following: Zooey Deschanel, Michael B. Jordan, Kristen Bell, Alec Baldwin, Viola Davis, and Laverne Cox. She also previously co-hosted the "Idol Nation" podcast.

Dory currently works in New York City as an Associate Editor on PEOPLE's TV News team. Through this role, she's continued to interview top-tier stars and has even made major on-camera TV appearances on programs like Good Morning America.
